Career path

  1. Warehouse floor
  2. Inventory leadership
  3. Supply chain planning
  4. Senior business and supply chain analytics

Every step added a new lens.

About me

I'm Andrei Pinter, and I've spent 15 years learning how businesses actually work, not from a textbook but from the inside out.

My career started on a warehouse floor. Receiving parts, counting inventory, chasing discrepancies through purchase orders and transaction logs. It wasn't glamorous, but it taught me something most analysts never learn: data doesn't start in a dashboard. It starts with someone scanning a barcode, entering a quantity, making a judgment call at a dock door. When you've done that work, you read data differently. You know where it breaks and why.

From there I moved into inventory leadership, then supply chain planning, then senior business and supply chain analytics, each step adding a new lens. I've managed teams, designed warehouse layouts, built reporting frameworks from scratch, led cross-functional planning processes, and driven measurable results at scale. At my most recent role, I drove $4.7M in finished goods inventory reduction and owned the demand consolidation process for $145M in annual sales across planning, finance, sales, and procurement, all while navigating three simultaneous enterprise system transitions that would have buried most reporting teams.

The tools changed at every stage. JDE, QAD, System 21, SQL, Alteryx, Power Query, Power BI, QLIK, Advanced Excel: I've learned and relearned platforms enough times to know that the tool is never the point. The point is the question you're trying to answer, and whether the person doing the work understands the business well enough to ask the right one. That principle holds whether I'm building a financial model, untangling a network problem, or composing a product shot.
